Scripture: “He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever he does prospers.” — Psalm 1:3
At Faith Root Landscaping, we see this verse come to life every day. Just like a healthy tree needs deep roots and living water, our faith needs to be planted in God’s Word to grow strong.
When we landscape, we pay attention to the soil, the sunlight, and the water — because growth only happens when those things are right. The same goes for our relationship with God. If we’re planted in His truth, surrounded by His presence, and nourished by prayer and Scripture, we’ll bear fruit that lasts.
But growth isn’t always easy. There are dry seasons — times when we feel tired, uncertain, or discouraged. Yet even in those moments, God is working beneath the surface. The roots of faith grow deepest when life feels hardest.
So, whether we’re planting flowers or facing struggles, this verse reminds us: stay rooted in God. Don’t let the storms pull you up or the heat of life dry you out. Keep drawing from His living water — His Word, His Spirit, His promises.
Reflection Questions:
Where are you “planted” right now — in God’s Word, or in the world’s worries?
What can you do this week to water your faith — prayer, Scripture, or worship?
How can you bear fruit for others through your words and actions?
Prayer:
Lord, help us stay rooted in You. Let our lives grow strong in faith, bear fruit in love, and show Your beauty wherever we go. Amen.
